Lakeisha Dunkin : President-Elect

Lakeisha Dunkin, BSN, RN is currently serving as President-Elect of the New Mexico Emergency Nurses Association. Lakeisha is also a member of the University of New Mexico Hospital’s Hospital Emergency Response Team which responds to chemical, biological, radiological, and explosive incidents involving mass casualties.  In addition, she assists UNMH’s Emergency Management department with emergency preparedness projects.

Lakeisha works full-time as an emergency room nurse at the University of New Mexico Hospital and casual pools at Lovelace. Presently, she is pursuing a MSN degree with an emphasis in Leadership.  The ER nurse’s expected graduation date is January 2018.
